DR CLAYTON PACE

Doctor of Chiropractic

The primary doctor and operator/owner of our facility. Dr Clayton grew up on LaGrange Mountain, helping his family on their farm. There he showed extreme proficiency in mathematical and mechanical skills used in carpentry and machining. A Muscle Shoals native (go Trojans!), he first attended Mississippi State and UNA in pursuit of a degree in Engineering. During that time, he encountered chiropractic and it changed his whole life (ask him about it one day, its a great story!) He graduated from the original chiropractic school in the USA, Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, IA in 2018. During his time at Palmer he attended a mission trip to Ghana, Africa where he was able to teach school, adjust the infirmed, spread the message of Christ, and help villagers fix whatever was needed (wells, motorcycles, etc). He would love to move to Africa one day. Dr Clayton's mentor during clinical rotations worked with Dr Gonstead, which has afforded him first hand experience (as close as you can get) to the original Gonstead method. Dr Clayton has practiced in several clinics since graduation and has pursued the dream of owning his own clinic in his hometown since 2020. Favorite hobbies include starting businesses, riding motorcycles, and antiques (esp. war related items).

DR ARIELLE PACE

Doctor of Chiropractic

Dr Arielle grew up in chiropractic thanks to her dad (currently practicing in SC since 1999). She was helped as a child with chronic ear infections and thanks to a truly great chiropractor, she never needed tubes and quit having ear infections altogether! This is what caused her father to change his career and go to chiropractic school. Arielle grew up going to classes with him and hearing many of the Giants of chiropractic teach and speak. The seed was planted. She attended Winthrop University in SC on a full ride to gain her Bachelors of Science with Honors, Biology major, Chemistry minor. Rather than graduate a year early, she decided to spend her senior year doing research at various programs and institutions. Thanks to great mentors and grants, she was published in major scientific journals 4 times, worked to patent a catheter design, participated in animal surgeries and studies, gave many oral presentations to departments, and has had innumerable poster and abstract publications. She joined the Palmer Chiropractic Research Center and participated in animal care and studies while pursuing her chiropractic degree. She graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic in February 2021. She and Clayton met during their time at Palmer and were married in April 2021. She focused her studies on Gonstead technique and maternal and pediatric care after experiencing full relief from chronic tension headaches thanks to a Gonstead adjustment! She decided right then there could be no better aim in life than to bring that kind of trusted relief to her community. She is a South Carolina native but loves the Shoals community and all it has to offer. Her favorite things in life include baking, gardening, and raising her babies. She also appreciates a good murder mystery novel on the beach, when she can get there!
